Handwoven

These are just a few of the many, many handwoven fabrics I've created over the years. I work with natural fibers and love experimenting with different structures that allowed me to explore texture, movement, and drape in new ways. I love combining technical precision with creative experimentation, constantly sampling new ideas to see what unexpected results emerge on the loom. I've had a number of looms over the years, but my current favorites are a 130cm Louet Megado 32-shaft, an Ashford Jack, and a Schacht Wolf Pup. I choose the loom I'll be using based on a variety of criteria specific to the project. For me, weaving is equal parts craftsmanship, problem-solving, and artistic exploration.
